See into Your Future with Daily Habits

Do you want to see into your future?

I'm not implying to become a prophet, however, there is a way you can predict an outcome based on current habits.

For instance, one might say, "Oh, a little sweets here and there won't hurt anyone."

And although that may have some truth in the moment, those little sweets add up over time, and in conjunction with other "this little {something} doesn't do any harm {now}"....over time, if it becomes habit, there might not become a favourable outcome.

"Small, Smart Choices + Consistence +Time = RADICAL DIFFERENCE." ~ Darren Hardy, The Compound Effect

We ALL go through out day with daily habits that serve and don't serve us.

It's up to us to discern which ones do and don't.

Little daily habits create a compound effect that we cannot see today.

My main concern is about how healthy I want to be 20 years from now. What I do today determines that, so I make sure I take my USANA supplements every morning and evening because they have given me the health results I desire.  I also add a little activity to my daily routine each day to keep me limber.

What you do right now, on a daily basis affects your tomorrow.

It's much healthier and more attainable to work out for 20 minutes a day for 30 days compared to working out for 10 hours (600 minutes) once a month.

And then there is the mental aspect...

How many times have you gone full throttle on a goal you desire to only crash, give up, and say, "this isn't for me."?

It's the "ALL IN", mentality that is not attainable as a "daily habit", that puts us in a downward spiral to mediocrity.

What if your "ALL IN" became small action steps "EACH DAY".

Here is what I want you to do:

1. Write down the one thing in your life that you want to do, be or have that you haven't been able to achieve or produce (yet).

2. Under your "one thing" list a brainstorm of ALL ideas you can possibly think of...from ridiculous to logical.  Have FUN with this!!  Let your creative juices flow!

3. From your brainstorm list, circle 3 ideas you feel are something you could act upon and write them on a sticky note and put it on your bathroom mirror so you see it a few time that day.

4. After a day of contemplation, choose 1 of the 3 on your list that resonates with you the most, and take daily action with only that one.

Each day you do that action, it will be come a daily habit that is incorporated into your being-ness, bring a trajectory shift that you may not see or understand immediately, but in time you will look back and smile and say to yourself, "yup, I did this...I created this change, this outcome, this result" just by doing the little daily habit :)

I also would love to hear all about your decision and action plan!
