Your Immune System at a Glance

The lymphatic system is part of the immune system. It consists of tonsils, adenoids, spleen, thymus, bone marrow, lymph vessels, lymph nodes and gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) located in the intestinal system. 

The lymphatic system works with the rest of the immune system to resist disease and fight infection and also maintains the body's fluid balance, transporting lymph fluids to the cardiovascular system for elimination of toxins."
